Ever since I started visiting Wells-next-the-Sea, Steve and all the staff at The Golden Fleece have made me and Zuki (my dog) unbelievably welcome.
Everyone makes a huge fuss of not just Zuki but every dog that visits. Bowls of water are supplied and there is a big jar of dog biscuits on the bar counter.
Dogs are allowed anywhere in the bar area.
Zuki and I have tried the other dog friendly pubs in Wells but The Golden Fleece is definitely the most welcoming and friendly.
The staff even celebrated Zuki’s birthday one year!
