10 September 2018 at 10:40amThe most dog friendly pub I’ve ever visited. There are usually more dogs than humans in the bar and the menu includes doggy sausages and dog beer!

12 October 2017 at 3:15pmBrilliant dog friendly pub – the landlady and landlord also now do dog sitting for free – if they like cats because they are cat lovers too with 4 of their own… humans and dogs are treated like family at the Greyhound! I think they are getting a doggy ice cream machine too!

24 September 2017 at 4:07pmThe staff are always pleased to welcome you to their pub and they are exemplary in their customer service. We also love the way they treat our dog Cooper as a valued customer and always make time to talk to him. The menu is very good and we like the fact that you can sit in the main bar rather than be made to sit outside.

2 September 2017 at 7:06amGreat pub, openly welcomes any and all dogs, so much so that they have a painted wall, right by their main entrance, dedicated to it’s regular canine visitors. It’s also an ideal location for dog walking as there is a large grass area outside as well as countryside woodland, which they use for their organised Sunday walks, which is held on the first Sunday of the month.

14 November 2016 at 6:57pmGreat country pub! – we frequent it a lot for a coffee after walking our standard chocolate poodle – Bourneville on the common, but today we also took along our new greyhound Minstrel ( do you see the theme here? ), and they both received so much attention that it was 20 minutes before we managed to get served – no complaints though – that’s just the kind of welcome that we are used to from the friendly and courteous staff – well done!
(Sorry please supersede my earlier message with the typo!).

9 October 2016 at 8:53amA truly wonderful pub – for me and my Mutt, Alfie.
We are both made equally welcome with fine Ales for me at very reasonable prices and delicious Doggy Sausage for just a £1.
The Landlord and Landlady (and their St Bernard – Wellington) organise a walk on the first Sunday of every month often attended by many of the customers and their dogs eventhose that don’t frequent the pub come along.
The staff there are always welcoming to the customers and their dogs, often bringing in dog biscuits to feed the dogs while sneaky a cheeky cuddle.
I cannot reccomend this pub highly enough.
